“My work is my passion and I’ve always traveled a lot, so a project like this abroad is something I’ve always wanted. Previously, I worked together with others to train people in Aruba to make orthopaedic shoes for people with diabetes. That experience is very useful to me now. Besides that, I spent a lot of time at Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Eindhoven to learn more about teaching, in preparation for this project. I also contributed to the development of the curriculum for the training in Vietnam.
I think the variation in backgrounds and the knowledge of English will be the biggest challenges. For me, this truly is a dream job.”
