Thanh: My goal? Making shoes for the disabled

Thanh is doing stitching assignments

The profession of orthopedic shoe maker is really new in my country and I like new challenges and experiences. Besides this, there are many people with a disability in my country who need orthopedic shoes. They have great problems such as polio, cerebral palsy, clubfoot and diabetics. That’s why I want to learn how to make orthopedic shoes.

The training course is very good and useful for me. One of the best parts of the training is the chance of working with foreign experts, who have lots of experience in orthopedic shoes. After finishing the course, I will continue working in Vietcot and apply the knowledge to making orthopedic shoes for the people with foot problems.

I would also like to say thank you to the sponsors who give me this scholarship.
